Sleeping With Sirens are days away from opening their fall headlining run, and St. Louis is locked in as one of the early Midwest stops. The band hits The Pageant on Sunday, Oct. 18, with Rain City Drive and Shyeye in support, celebrating eighth studio album An Ending In Itself.
The record arrived June 12 via Rise Records, the band’s first full-length with the label since 2013’s Feel. It debuted in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart in its first week. Produced by Grammy-nominated Will Yip (Turnstile, Circa Survive, Movements), the album is framed as both a homecoming and a reckoning: the restless bite of the band’s classic era, sharpened by everything that has happened since.
Kerrang! called An Ending In Itself “expectation-defeating,” arguing Sleeping With Sirens have found the best versions of themselves. CaliberTV labeled it their “best album since 2011.” Other coverage has described the record as inspiring, intentional, and a return to the energy that pushed the band into the mainstream more than a decade ago.
That combination of catalog weight and new material is what the tour is built to deliver. After festival dates through the summer and Aftershock in Sacramento on Oct. 3, the headline routing begins Oct. 6 in Phoenix and works east through Texas before landing in St. Louis. Doors and start time at The Pageant are listed for 7 p.m. Tickets and VIP packages have been available through Ticketmaster and the band’s tour page; several other cities on the run have already sold out.
Frontman Kellin Quinn has described the album as a conclusion and a continuation at once — a closing chapter on a stretch that includes How It Feels to Be Lost and Complete Collapse, and a reset that reconnects the group with the sound that first defined them. The current lineup — Quinn, Nick Martin, Justin Hills, Matty Best, and guitarist Tony Pizzuti — carries that history into rooms like The Pageant, where the band’s mix of melody, volume, and Quinn’s vocal range has long played well.
Rain City Drive and Shyeye open the night, giving the bill a full post-hardcore and alternative-rock arc before Sleeping With Sirens take the stage. For fans who have followed the band from the Warped Tour years through the Rise return, Oct. 18 is the local chance to hear the new singles — including the title track, “Forever/Always,” “Paralyzed,” and “House of Matches” — next to the songs that built the catalog.
The An Ending In Itself Tour continues after St. Louis through the Upper Midwest, Canada, and the East Coast before wrapping at Vans Warped Tour in Orlando on Nov. 14. For this market, the date is simple: Sunday night at The Pageant, new record in hand, and a band that sounds more like itself than it has in years.
