Payton Sullivan Goes Full Throttle With “F150” Ahead of Sugarland Tour

Country spitfire Payton Sullivan gets behind the wheel for her full-throttle release, “F150,” out today. Written by Sullivan and Alex Angelo (also the producer), the Country finger-picking melody melts into a synthy atmospheric bop that drops into a Pop-Disco party and makes for the perfect road-ready anthem. Fans will be calling shotgun as they sing along to “F150” HERE.

“I love this song because it shows a side of me that’s fun, flirty, and goofy, while mixing in my love of Country and Pop,” shares Sullivan. “I wanted to surprise fans with this release before we head out on tour with Sugarland tomorrow! I hope everyone turns it up loud as they drive to the show, and I can’t wait to sing it onstage every night!”

Delivered just before she heads out this week as GRAMMY Award-winning duo Sugarland’s special guest on the Ride or Die Tour (celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark album, Enjoy the Ride), Sullivan is booked as the sole direct support for the run. This is a full-circle billing for her, sparked by an unexpected meeting with Sugarland’s Kristian Bush at the 2024 Hawai‘i Songwriting Festival in Hawaiʻi Island (the Big Island), after being raised on Sugarland (thanks to her mother) and claiming their smash “Something More” as her first karaoke song. Hailed among Nashville Lifestyles’ “New Voices of 2026,” Sullivan is balancing this life-changing tour while clocking time in the studio working on her forthcoming debut project, with Bush further serving as her producer. Playing 21 dates, this bucket-list adventure begins Thursday (10/1) in St. Augustine, FL, with stops directly following in North Charleston, SC, on Friday (10/2), and Greensboro, NC, on Saturday (10/3). Rolling through the fall, the Ride or Die Tour closes November 21 in Grand Prairie, TX. Find a full list of upcoming tour dates and ticketing information at PaytonSullivan.com.

Sullivan is redefining what Country music sounds like from the shores of Hawaii. Born in Florida and raised near Nashville, she rebuilt her life – and her musical identity – on an island ranch after leaving a young marriage. “That’s when I started writing songs that felt like me – lighter, happier,” she recalls. Blending Southern storytelling with Aloha spirit, she calls her rhythmic sunshine sound the “Ultimate Coastal Cowgirl.” Sullivan’s duet with Hawaiian hitmaker Maoli and the resulting Boots on the Ground Tour introduced her to audiences across the Pacific in 2024, while her self-penned “Country to Me,” a heartfelt tribute to her grandmother, began drawing early radio attention last year. Adding to her growing tour support, she’s also notably opened for Chase Matthew and Redferrin. Sullivan’s latest releases, produced by Bush, showcase her signature mix of grit, grace, and empowerment. “It’s Country music with sand on its boots and salt on its lips,” she concludes. “It’s where I found my voice – and where I’m finally home.” Follow along with Sullivan on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
