Alt-rock star on the rise, Kami Kehoe, bares her heart on new single, “THE END”, out now via Atlantic Records, alongside the announcement of her highly anticipated record, “LOVE IS A WEAPON”, arriving on August 28th. Following the runaway success of her “KANDY” EP, which racked up millions of streams and over 100 million views in short form content, Kami Kehoe continues to raise the stakes with “LOVE IS A WEAPON”, a full-length album rooted in a defining truth: love can destroy you, or it can rebuild you. Pre-save the upcoming album “LOVE IS A WEAPON” HERE.

Exploring the duality of love as both a source of empowerment and destruction, “LOVE IS A WEAPON” finds Kami Kehoe turning heartbreak, vulnerability, and resilience into 15 tracks that lean into danger and desire. Pivoting away from her “KANDY” EP, which chronicled heartbreak and healing,”THE END” builds on the central theme of devotion on the upcoming record, finding Kami Kehoe in the aching promise of loving someone throughout distance, doubt and everything in between.

Speaking to the heart of “THE END”, Kami Kehoe shares:

““THE END” is inspired by a ride or die type of relationship. I wrote this when I was with someone who was with me, before I became successful and was willing to stay until the end, no matter how difficult things got. I wanted the song feel like a promise. That I would do everything I said once I had everything to give them.

I’m so excited for this song to be out, I think it’s a beautiful and real love song for all the ride or die’s out there. This is also one of my favorite songs to play live and I can’t wait to sing it with everyone for these upcoming shows.”

On the deeper world behind “LOVE IS A WEAPON”, Kami Kehoe adds:

“I wrote LOVE IS A WEAPON during a time when I was learning that love isn’t just one thing. It can break you, heal you, protect you, and completely change who you are. Every song comes from a real place in my life, but I hope people hear their own stories in it too. Throughout this album, I wanted to use my experiences, good or bad, and turn them into something beautiful. I truly believe our hearts are the most powerful weapon we have, and it’s up to us how we choose to use it but at the end of the day love always wins. I hope this album reminds everyone that they aren’t alone, and I hope it inspires them to choose love at the end no matter what.”

Hot on the heels of her latest singles “DIRTY”, “PSYCHO”, smash hits “DOPAMINE” and “FADE OUT,”, and a nationwide tour supporting DaughtrySeether, and POD (which saw her regularly invited to join them on stage), Kami continues to cement her place as one of the genre’s most magnetic rising voices. Named as one of Pandora’s Artists to Watch in 2026 (The Pandora Ten) and continuing to rack up spins on Sirius XM’s Octane, Kami is set to take on some of the country’s biggest stages this fall as support for Breaking Benjamin.

With signature gritty guitars, atmospheric production, and Kami’s evocative vocals, her smash hit, “FADE OUT” closed out 2025 as one of her most emotionally charged releases to date. The track capped off her “KANDY” EP era that documented the full arc of heartbreak and healing, garnering millions of streams, 100 million views in short form content, and viral popularity worldwide. Her hit single, “DOPAMINE”, earned over 30 million streams and hit #11 on Sirius XM Octane’s “Big Uns” Countdown, spotlighting her growth in the modern rock landscape.

Carving out her own space in the alt-rock world, Kami Kehoe has impressively amassed over 105 million streams and more than 2 million social media followers by blending a sultry, velvety vocal with a hard-charged rock energy. Since breaking out with the viral hit “SLEEP WHEN I’M DEAD”, she has continued to evolve her sound—infusing shoegaze, metal, and hip-hop influences into her music while remaining unapologetically authentic.

Be sure to stay tuned for more Kami Kehoe news coming very soon.

ABOUT KAMI KEHOE

KAMI KEHOE has spent nearly her entire life making music, but she’s finally reached a point where she’s able to make it without boundaries. Following the viral breakout of “SLEEP WHEN I’M DEAD” and her acclaimed debut, REVIVED, Kehoe has become one of hard rock’s most exciting names: earning heavy support from SiriusXM Octane, touring with Daughtry, Seether, P.O.D. and Breaking Benjamin, appearing at Louder Than Life, Warped Tour and Shiprocked and being named an Artist to Watch by both Pandora and Billboard.

No longer interested in choosing between the different sounds she grew up loving, Kehoe has spent the past two years embracing them all, laying the foundation for her forthcoming sophomore LP (and first for Atlantic): a genre-bending collection that expands her sound in every direction, blending dark pop, alternative, punk, metal, R&B and electronic into something uniquely her own.

Recent singles “DIRTY,” “PSYCHO” and “HEARTLESS” offer the clearest glimpse yet into that evolving creativity, while brand-new track “THE END” brings this vision even further, weaving pulsating sub-bass, trap grooves, ominous atmospherics and crushing guitars into a towering, slow-burn anthem. Taken together, the songs find her operating not only as their sole songwriter and drummer but also their creative architect, building a high-concept visual universe that makes each feel like another chapter in a larger, immersive world – where the only limits that exist are ones Kehoe puts on herself.
