Legendary experimental rock outfit Melvins will perform at the Old Rock House on Friday, July 17, 2026. Doors are scheduled to open at 7:00 PM, with the performance beginning at 8:00 PM. The venue is located at 1200 South 7th Street, St. Louis, MO 63104. This all-ages event includes a $2 cash surcharge at the door for minors.
Formed in 1983 in Montesano, Washington, the Melvins have earned a reputation as influential pioneers whose innovative blend of slow, heavy riffs, punk aggression, and experimental elements helped shape the development of grunge and sludge metal. Led by guitarist and vocalist Buzz Osborne (King Buzzo), with longtime drummer Dale Crover, the band has maintained a prolific career spanning more than four decades. The current lineup also features Steven Shane McDonald on bass and Coady Willis on drums, delivering the powerful, intricate sound for which the group is known.
