Fraggle fans and families across the country are in for a delightful treat. The Jim Henson Company’s joyful, music-filled live stage production, Jim Henson’s Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE, is launching its second national tour this fall. Following a successful summer run at New York City’s New Victory Theater, the show will visit more than 40 cities across the United States.
The tour kicks off on Friday, September 18, 2026, at the Viterbo University Fine Arts Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and continues through late November with an exciting lineup of performances.
In this first-ever stage adaptation of the Emmy-winning Apple TV+ series, Gobo, Red, Mokey, Wembley, and Boober Fraggle embark on a quest to recover the lost Celebration Stone — an ancient treasure with the power to unite everyone in the ultimate celebration. Along the way, they encounter magic, adventure, new friendships, and heartfelt moments that capture the true spirit of Fraggle Rock.
True to Jim Henson’s legacy, the production bursts with comedy, energetic dancing, and unforgettable music. Audiences will enjoy vibrant new walkaround versions of the Fraggles, fresh puppet interpretations of the hardworking Doozers, a towering Gorg, and a host of exciting original creature characters — all masterfully designed and built by the renowned Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. With fan-favorite songs, impressive visual effects, and plenty of interactive fun, this family-friendly show promises to leave audiences of all ages laughing, dancing, and feeling inspired.
