Melrose Avenue took their tour to Houston on April 10th and rocked every second. They filled Secret Group with so much energy and fun, making the entire night feel electric. The openers, Stray View and Autumn Kings, helped spark that energy early on. They were both fantastic, and I’ll definitely be adding some of their songs to my playlist.
Melrose Avenue brought a ton of crowd interaction, which made the night even more special. Everyone was encouraged to dance, and it made the atmosphere incredibly fun. Every member of the band is extremely talented and performed effortlessly. It was a fantastic show that I’ll definitely remember.
For me, highlights of the night were “Fool and The Beggar,” “Deep End,” and “Through Hell.” I also loved photographing the show—especially since it was my first time shooting at this venue. It was super intimate, and photographers were even allowed to step partially onto the stage, which made for some really cool shots.
Overall, the show was an amazing experience for everyone lucky enough to attend. I’ll definitely be trying to catch this band again when they come back through town. Melrose Avenue is continuing their tour across the U.S. and Canada, and I highly recommend checking them out.
