Rock veterans Collective Soul are giving fans a special treat this Record Store Day. On Saturday, April 18, the band—Ed Roland (vocals/guitar/piano), Dean Roland (rhythm guitar), Will Turpin (bass), Jesse Triplett (lead guitar), and Johnny Rabb (drums)—will drop their brand-new full-length album, Touch and Go, exclusively at independent record stores across the country.

It will be available on limited-edition 180-gram colored vinyl, bundled with a collectible 12” x 24” poster. Fans can locate participating stores through Recordstoreday.com.

A Band with Deep Roots and Fresh Momentum Collective Soul have sold more than 15 million albums worldwide, with six certified Gold or Platinum. They’ve scored seven #1 singles, including the enduring anthems “Shine,” “December,” and “The World I Know.”
Last summer, on July 8, 2025, the band unveiled their definitive feature-length documentary, Give Me A Word: The Collective Soul Story. Directed by Joseph Rubinstein and produced by Greg Richling and Jonathan Sheldon of Pfonetic, the film dives into the group’s family connections, creative process, and the wisdom earned over decades in the industry. It was shot at Elvis Presley’s historic Palm Springs, California estate in early 2023—during the recording of their prior album Here to Eternity. Collective Soul remains the only other music act besides Elvis to have recorded at the landmark property. The documentary features both new behind-the-scenes footage and archival clips spanning the band’s entire career.
The trailer is available now on the band’s official YouTube channel. Give Me A Word can be purchased on DVD and Blu-ray via the band’s website or streamed on demand through Amazon (North America), Apple Music (worldwide), Google (U.K. and North America), Vudu, Hoopla, Olyn, and additional platforms.
On the Road Again Fresh off a Las Vegas residency at The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas (which included a special guest appearance by Edwin McCain), Collective Soul is hitting the highway once more. They’ll headline theaters and casinos across the U.S. this spring and summer, and they’re set to join Creed’s “Summer of ’99 and Beyond Cruise” aboard the ship at Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas, from April 17–21.
