Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan: Ghost War - Official Teaser | Prime Video

Jack Ryan returns in a major movie event. Stream Ghost War - May 20 on Prime Video.

The wait is finally over for fans of Tom Clancy’s legendary CIA analyst. Today, Prime Video officially released the first teaser trailer for Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War, the highly anticipated feature film that brings John Krasinski’s iconic portrayal of Jack Ryan back to the screen in a major movie event.

In the gripping teaser, viewers get a pulse-pounding first look at Ryan reluctantly pulled back into the shadows of espionage. Quick-cut action sequences show high-stakes international incidents, intense close-quarters combat, and a chilling message from a dangerous new enemy. Krasinski’s everyman hero appears battle-worn yet determined, uttering lines that hint at his internal conflict (“I’m not doing this again”), while familiar allies and a sharp new partner join the fight. The teaser builds to an ominous “Welcome back,” underscoring that this is Jack Ryan’s most personal and dangerous mission yet.

Following the massive success of the four-season Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan series (2018–2023), which became one of Prime Video’s biggest hits, the character is making the leap to a full-length feature film. The story thrusts Ryan into a treacherous “ghost war” conspiracy after a covert mission exposes shocking truths. He must confront a rogue, radicalized black-ops unit that knows every move his team makes — a threat that’s intelligent, deadly, and deeply personal.

Reuniting with his battle-tested CIA allies:

  • James Greer (Wendell Pierce)
  • Mike November (Michael Kelly)

Ryan teams up with a razor-sharp new partner: MI6 officer Emma Marlowe, played by Sienna Miller in her first appearance in the franchise.

The film is directed by Andrew Bernstein, with a screenplay co-written by John Krasinski and Aaron Rabin. The story is by Krasinski and Noah Oppenheim, based on the enduring characters created by Tom Clancy. Krasinski also serves as a producer alongside Allyson Seeger and Andrew Form. It’s an R-rated thriller packed with the franchise’s signature blend of geopolitical intrigue, real-time suspense, and emotional depth — now amplified by the big-screen treatment.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War will stream globally on Prime Video starting May 20, 2026. While today’s teaser is just a tantalizing taste, expect the full official trailer in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, fans can dive back into the original series (all four seasons are streaming now) to refresh on the characters and get pumped for Jack’s return.
