Vocelli Pizza, the Pittsburgh-based chain celebrated for its hand-tossed, Italian-inspired pizzas made with fresh dough and premium ingredients, is gearing up for significant growth. The company has announced plans to open three new stores in early 2026, marking entries into new markets and reinforcing its presence in existing ones. With ambitious goals to launch 11 new locations throughout the year, Vocelli is capitalizing on strong demand for its authentic, high-quality offerings.

“We are thrilled to continue our growth into new communities that share our passion for quality, service, and authentic Italian-inspired food,” said Toni Bianco, CEO of Vocelli Pizza. “Our expansion into Dalton and Houston reflects the strong demand for our brand, and we look forward to delivering an exceptional experience to guests in both markets.”

The standout opening will be in Dalton, Georgia, where Vocelli will debut its fourth dine-in restaurant inside the iconic Crown Cotton Mill. Built in 1884, this historic structure—once a cornerstone of Dalton’s textile industry—has been revitalized into a bustling mixed-use development known as The Mill at Crown Garden, complete with shops, restaurants, event spaces, and loft apartments.

Scheduled to open in January 2026, this will be Vocelli’s second location in Georgia. The restaurant promises a vibrant, community-oriented vibe, featuring a stage for live music, pool tables, bingo nights, beer and wine service, and a special weekend brunch menu. It’s designed as a true gathering spot for families and locals in this landmark setting.

Vocelli’s push into Texas continues with its entry into the Houston market via a new franchise in Katy. Set to open in March 2026 at 2941 W. Grand Parkway North, this location will feature a regionalized menu including Halal products—a thoughtful adaptation to serve Houston’s diverse and growing community.

“The team is excited to introduce Vocelli Pizza to Houston with a full Halal menu,” Bianco added. “There is a clear demand for high-quality Halal pizza and delivery options, and we are proud to meet that need while bringing our brand to a new and dynamic market.”

This move builds on Vocelli’s earlier Texas expansions, demonstrating the chain’s commitment to inclusivity and market-specific customization.

In Rockville, Maryland, Vocelli will open its 17th store in the state by February 2026. This location is particularly special, as it will be operated by a franchisee with deep roots in the Vocelli family business, backed by a longtime employee who has transitioned into ownership. It represents a homecoming of sorts, strengthening the brand’s strong foothold in Maryland.

These openings underscore Vocelli Pizza’s momentum as a growing franchise. Founded in 1988 and rebranded with an Italian flair in the early 2000s, the chain now operates over 80 locations across multiple states, known for classics like its Deluxe Pizza alongside innovative rolls, subs, and pastas.
