After eight long years away, Columbus, Ohio’s My Ticket Home have slammed back into the scene with their ferocious new album Pure To A Fault, officially out today (November 21, 2025). Completely independent and unapologetically themselves, the quartet — vocalist Nick Giumenti, drummer Marshal Giumenti, guitarist Matt Gallucci, and guitarist/vocalist Derek Blevins — have delivered what might be the most vital heavy record of the year.
To celebrate release day, the band dropped the snarling new single “One for the Garden,” a track loaded with scathing riffs, throat-shredding screams, and more hooks than you’ll find in a tackle box. It’s the perfect final taste of an album that refuses to sit still.
Frontman Nick Giumenti doesn’t mince words about what this record means: “I am extremely grateful to be making music with my best friends again. Somehow, our time away from the band has made us into better musicians… I have re-fallen in love with heavy music during the past couple years, and I think we all wanted to bring a fresh energy back to MTH. No rules, no obligations — just write whatever we want and chase what feels good.”

The road back started with four killer singles that reintroduced the band to a hungry fanbase: “Tearjoint,” “Urethane,” “Nothing Lost” (with its striking music video), and “Flooded Eyes.” Those songs built unstoppable momentum, culminating in a string of intimate live dates and a sold-out show supporting I Prevail at The Crofoot in Detroit — proof that the fire never actually went out.
