Rising sensation Nicotine Dolls announced a sudden postponement of their highly anticipated performance at Delmar Hall tonight. The show, part of the band’s “An Attempt at Romantic” tour, was meant to be a high-energy stop in the Gateway City, complete with special guest Wic Whitney and a setlist packed with hits from their latest album.
The news broke via the band’s official social media channels this afternoon, sending waves of disappointment through the sold-out crowd.
“Hey St. Louis,
I hate to even write this, but I woke up terribly sick and completely without a voice. I’ve tried everything to make tonight happen, but I can barely talk, let alone sing. We’re going to have to postpone tonight’s show. I’m so sorry. I know a lot of you made plans and came a long way, and this is the last thing I ever want to do.We’ll get a new date on the books ASAP, I promise.Thank you for understanding and for always showing so much love. I can’t wait to make it up to you.
-Sam”
While disappointing for sure, I will be looking forward to the new date, and know it will be worth the wait and will be making plans to catch them in other cities as well. They are a must see.
