Springfield’s favorite family is back! The Simpsons will hit theaters with an all-new animated feature film on July 23, 2027, marking their first cinematic adventure since The Simpsons Movie in 2007. Twentieth Century Studios announced the project, promising fans a fresh story packed with the irreverent humor, heart, and cultural satire that has made the series a global phenomenon for over three decades.

Creator Matt Groening and the original voice cast, including Dan Castellaneta (Homer), Julie Kavner (Marge), Nancy Cartwright (Bart), and Yeardley Smith (Lisa), are set to return. The plot remains under wraps, but early teasers hint at a wild, Springfield-sized adventure involving Homer’s latest get-rich-quick scheme, Marge’s exasperated optimism, and Bart’s knack for chaos. Expect classic gags, new faces, and plenty of nods to the show’s iconic legacy.

The film aims to capture the magic of the 2007 movie, which grossed over $536 million worldwide, while embracing modern animation techniques to bring Springfield to life like never before. “We’re thrilled to bring the Simpsons back to theaters,” said executive producer James L. Brooks. “It’s a chance to tell a bigger story and maybe poke fun at the world a little louder.”

Fans are already buzzing with excitement, with social media posts speculating about potential cameos and whether Spider-Pig will make a triumphant return. Mark your calendars for July 23, 2027, and get ready for more doughnuts, Duff beer, and Springfield shenanigans on the big screen!
