The No. 20 Missouri Tigers roared to a 42-6 Homecoming rout over UMass, improving to 5-0 for the second time in three years under coach Eli Drinkwitz. Despite four sacks and an early UMass touchdown, Mizzou dominated with over 250 rushing yards and a stingy defense.

Ahmad Hardy led the ground game with 100-plus yards, including a five-yard score, while Jamal Roberts added a 35-yard burst. QB Beau Pribula set a program record with 21 straight completions, breaking Chase Daniel’s record of 20. His nine-yard touchdown pass to Brett Norfleet sealed the deal in the third.

The defense, led by Jalen Catalon and Corey Flagg Jr., held UMass to 124 yards and eight first downs, with a blocked extra point snuffing out early momentum. UMass’ Timmy Hinspeter had 17 tackles, but it wasn’t enough against Mizzou’s relentless attack.

The Tigers’ ninth straight Homecoming win sets them up for SEC play after a bye week. With wins over South Carolina and Kansas already in the bag, Mizzou’s perfect start signals their bite as conference battles loom.
