Papa Roach teams up with Toby Morse of H2O for their new single “Braindead,” released June 25, 2025. This high-energy track blends nu-metal and punk, delivering a bold call to live with purpose. Available on all streaming platforms, it’s the second single from Papa Roach’s upcoming 2026 album.

“Braindead” is a raw anthem with lyrics like “You’ve got one life, one chance, one shot, I don’t wanna waste it like I’m feeling braindead.” Jacoby Shaddix and Morse, friends for over 20 years, channel their shared ethos into the track, amplified by Colin Brittain’s fierce production. The song’s chant of “Rot, rot, rot” and vivid imagery like “Molotov cocktails rain from the heavens” pack a punch.

Following their 2022 album Ego Trip, Papa Roach continues to evolve under New Noize Records. Their Rise of the Roach tour, celebrating Infest’s 25th anniversary, sold out globally, including London’s Wembley Arena. “Braindead” comes with a lyric video, with a full music video set for July 2025.

“Braindead” urges fans to break free from apathy, continuing Papa Roach’s legacy of impactful music. Stream it now and catch the band at 2025 festivals like Wacken Open Air.
