According to Fox 8 Cleveland, police records indicate that Sanders received the citation on Interstate 71 North at 12:24 a.m. on Tuesday. He now faces the choice of paying a $250 fine or contesting the ticket in court.
While a speeding ticket is relatively minor in the grand scheme of offenses, this incident does little to dispel concerns about Sanders’ maturity—concerns that NFL teams prioritize when evaluating potential franchise quarterbacks.
