Jesse Leach describes it as a reflection on tragedy, loss, and the resilience it takes to rebuild. “It’s about the realization of a tragic event or a war, the strength it takes to rebuild, and the hindsight of the loss, betrayal, and madness,” he says. Whether it’s personal struggles like abusive relationships or financial hardship, or global issues like environmental destruction, the song hits hard.
