NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country darling and singer-songwriter Abbie Callahan announces her new EP Grossly Aware to be released July 25^th. As a preview, Abbie has released her second single from the EP called “The Garden” that is available everywhere today. The track is written by Abbie herself along with, Emily Shackelton (Carly Pearce, Reba McEntire) and Sarah Allison Turner (Priscilla Block).

Produced by Oscar Charles (Chase Rice, Kassi Ashton, Madeline Edwards) and guitar work by CMA Musician of the Year Charlie Worsham, Abbie Callahan’s “The Garden” plants seeds of hope and growth with a radiant bluegrass-pop sound.

Abbie shares, “’The Garden’ during one of the most challenging periods of my life. I felt stuck, uncertain of how or when I would regain my footing. But in time, I did. Just six months later, I was signing my first publishing deal. It felt as though the seeds of my goals and dreams were finally being nurtured—and now, they’re in full bloom. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and that things do get better. That belief was the driving inspiration behind the song.”

Abbie doesn’t just sing her stories; she lives them, feels them, and sets them free through song. With a voice both timeless and unfiltered, the Iowa-born, Nashville-based singer/songwriter brings “kaleidoscope country” to life.

On the heels of two effervescent CMA Fest performances last weekend in Nashville, Abbie will be making her Bonnaroo debut at the Who Stage Today, June 13 along with performing daily at the famed honky tonks of downtown Nashville.

With her debut album coming out in July Abbie shares: “When was the last time you felt truly, grossly aware? For me, it was when I finished this record, profoundly aware of who I am, who I am not, and how much I still have to learn. Creating this EP meant leaving behind everything I’d known to pursue a dream. It revealed how deeply relationships can shape us, and it demanded moments of difficult self-reflection, facing patterns, and choosing growth. Every song holds a piece of my heart. To me, this record is about the journey of self-discovery; however, it looks for you. I hope this music can be a companion on your path.”
