Impactful, melancholic, and energetic — these are qualities with which Lost in Hollywood vocalist Amon Garrasi, guitarist Timo Dymala, bassist Julian Utz, and drummer Samuel Minio capture the emotions of their listeners. Their new modern metalcore hymn “Chasing Dreams transcends through a unique audiovisual experience and sets the stage as the new single for their upcoming second studio album.
Lost in Hollywood were founded in early 2023 and gained attention in the metalcore scene, with their debut album The Beauty of Death gaining over 1.3 million streams. Their first live shows, including at the Reeperbahn Festival 2024, showcased the band’s immense potential. Not only do they offer a-quality sound, but also an electrifying stage presence from all band members, promising an unforgettable concert experience.
Watch the “Chasing Dreams” music video here.
“Chasing Dreams” was co-produced and mixed by Max Ivory, and mastered by Christoph Wieczorek, one of the most demanded producers in the scene who has worked on critically acclaimed albums with acts such as Electric Callboy, Future Palace, Annisokay, and many more.
Lost in Hollywood offer a symbiosis between emotional vocals, modern urban pop influences, and heavy-hitting breakdowns with this new single, that catches the ear with huge emphasis on strong contrasts. It tells the story of searching for the final stage of happiness with a person you idolize, just to realize that there is no such thing as infinite bliss and your dream life can’t satisfy you if you’ve not healed from within.

Catch the band live on tour in Europe — more info here.
