GAME DETAILS
Julia Simon and Emily Gaebe scored goals for Saint Louis, and the top-seeded Billikens defeated fifth-seeded Saint Joseph’s 2-0 in an Atlantic 10 Championship semifinal game Thursday night at Hermann Stadium.
•SLU (13-1-6) advances to the tournament final to face third-seeded Massachusetts, a 2-1 semifinal winner over second-seeded Dayton. Game time on Sunday, Nov. 10, at Hermann Stadium is noon. The Billikens defeated the Minutewomen 1-0 in their regular-season meeting Sept. 19 in Amherst.
•Saint Louis will be seeking its seventh consecutive A-10 Championship title and seventh straight NCAA Tournament automatic bid in Sunday’s contest.
•Saint Joseph’s concluded the season 9-4-7.
•Simon gave the Billikens a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute with her fourth goal of the season. Lucie Schwartz and Hope Kim assisted.
•Gaebe, with assists from Hannah Larson and Elise Le, increased her league-best totals to 13 goals and 30 points in the 63rd minute.
Emily Puricelli made two saves and registered the 80th victory and 50th shutout of her career.

•SLU extended its unbeaten streak to 15 games (11-0-4).
•The Billikens improved to 12-4-4 vs. Saint Joseph’s.
•SLU is 25-5-1 all-time in A-10 Championship games, including a current 19-game winning streak.
•The shutout was the Billikens’ eighth consecutive clean sheet in an A-10 Championship game, believed to be the longest current conference tournament shutout streak in NCAA Division I.
•SLU extended its unbeaten streak vs. A-10 opponents (regular season and conference tournament combined) to 41 games.

Hannah Larson’s assist was her fourth of the year, tying her for the team lead. It also was the 18th of her career, tying for 10th place on SLU’s all-time list.
