QUICK PREVIEW  

Saint Louis plays its first true road game of the season Sunday afternoon when it travels to Auburn, Ala., to face the 13th-ranked Auburn Tigers. Game time at Neville Arena is slated for 2 p.m. (CT).

Saint Louis, which continues to receive votes in the AP Top 25, enters Sunday’s game with a 5-1 record. Auburn is 6-0 on the season and is No. 18 in KenPom, the top ranking of any opponent on SLU’s challenging nonconference schedule.

FOLLOW THE ACTION  

The game will be televised on SEC Network. Roy Philpott and Daymeon Fishback have the call. It can also be streamed on the Watch ESPN app for SEC Network subscribers.

He remains the NCAA leader in assists (64) and assists per game (10.7) and is the Billikens’ third-leading scorer (12.8 ppg). Collins is on the 2023 Bob Cousy Award Preseason Watch List. The Cousy Award, which is sponsored by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, recognizes the top point guard in men’s NCAA Division I basketball (read more).

2 // Gibson Jimerson leads the Billikens with 14.7 ppg and ranks 16th in the NCAA with 3.5 3-pointers made per game.

3 // SLU will be looking for its first win against a ranked opponent since beating No. 25 VCU in the 2013 A-10 Championship game.

4 // The Billikens are sixth in the NCAA in team free-throw percentage (.813, 100-123). Saint Louis also leads the A-10 in scoring offense (83.8 ppg), scoring margin (+10.8) and rebounds per game (41.7 rpg). 

5 // This is the third and final game of a three-game series between the teams. Auburn won the previous two – a 67-61 win on a neutral court in Birmingham on Dec. 14, 2019, and a 74-70, come-from-behind win at Chaifetz Arena last year. Auburn leads the overall series 3-0. The Billikens have played every SEC team except for Florida and has a 56-53 record all-time versus teams from the SEC.
