Saint Louis rising seniors Hasahn French and Jordan Goodwin announced they have withdrawn from the 2020 NBA Draft process and will return to Saint Louis University for their senior seasons in 2020-21.

In late March, Goodwin and French announced their intentions to “test the waters” for the NBA Draft, taking advantage of an NCAA rule that allowed them to not lose their remaining eligibility.

“I am proud of Hasahn and Jordan and thankful for the experience they were able to gain by going through the process and communicating with NBA personnel,” SLU head coach Travis Ford said. “I am obviously excited about what they bring to our basketball team next season, but I am even more thrilled that they will be continuing to work toward their SLU degrees. They are two special young men with very bright basketball futures.”

French scored 12.4 ppg and led the A-10 with 10.4 rpg in 2019-20. The second-team All-Conference pick and two-time A-10 All-Defensive selection holds SLU records for blocked shots in a career (202) and season (77 in 2019-20). French is the only active NCAA Division I player with 200+ career blocked shots, 170+ career assists and 85+ career steals.

A first-team All-Conference and All-Defensive selection by the Atlantic 10, Goodwin led SLU with 15.5 ppg a year ago. He also was one of the top rebounding guards in the country with 10.4 rpg, which ranked in the top 25 nationally. Goodwin ranked 24th in the country with 64 steals. He led the Atlantic 10 with 15 double-doubles, and he scored in double figures in all but three games in 2019-20.
