Wizard Entertainment Postpones St. Louis, Philadelphia Events To 2021

Eighth Annual St. Louis Event Now Set For March 12-14, 2021; 20th Philadelphia Show Moves To January 15-17; Ticket Purchasers Can Use On Rescheduled Dates; First Quarter of 2021 Calendar Also Announced

LOS ANGELES, May 14, 2020 – Wizard Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB:WIZD) today announced that its Wizard World St. Louis and Philadelphia conventions, originally scheduled for June 5-7 at America’s Center and June 19-21 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, respectively, have been postponed due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. The revised dates for the eighth annual St. Louis event at America’s Center are March 12-14, 2021; the new Philadelphia dates at a new location, the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, are January 15-17, 2021.

Fans who purchased general admission and/or VIP tickets for the original dates may use those for the rescheduled dates. Artists, exhibitors and others associated with the event can expect communication from Wizard Entertainment soon regarding the new dates.

Additionally, Wizard World announced other entries on its early 2021 calendar: New Orleans, January 8-10; Portland, January 29-31; and Cleveland, February 26-28.

The status of other scheduled Wizard World conventions in 2020 has not yet been determined; Wizard Entertainment will make the plans for each show as complete facts and data become available.

Communities across North America have supported Wizard events for more than 20 years, Wizard Entertainment’s paramount concern is for everyone’s safety and well-being. Wizard Entertainment looks forward to continuing its pop culture conventions at a time deemed appropriate by public health and government officials, in consultation with other local authorities as necessary.

In an exciting new initiative that has gained traction in its own right, Wizard Entertainment invites fans to participate in free Wizard World Virtual Experiences, in which celebrities from favorite TV shows, film franchises and more conduct group video Q&As, available on Twitch, Facebook and YouTube.
