Post Malone Has St. Louis Saying “Wow”

Post Malone proved that he is a musical force to be reckoned with during his Runaway Tour stop in St. Louis last night. The audience at the Enterprise Center was taken on a rollercoaster of emotion complete with pyro, a lot of Bud Light, and the gritty vocals of a true rockstar.

Posty’s set was organized with true intention. He first hyped his crowd up with hits like “Better Now” and “Saint Tropez” before entering into a phase full of heartbreak anthems. He was able to convince his audience that they should live every day like it’s their last -and party while they can- but also humanized what it feels like to grow through a heartbreak. The energy of the audience built with each song, experiencing waves of emotion as songs like “Wow.” and “Candy Paint” had the arena dancing like it was their last night, contrasted with Posty’s raspy honesty that shone through songs like “I Fall Apart.”

After an acoustic version of “Stay” that turned into a boisterous echo of voices ringing out across the Enterprise Center, Post plunged on through his biggest hits, even bringing back out opening act, Swae Lee, to perform “Sunflower.” The night wrapped up with a lesson from Posty- telling his crowd to follow their dreams and never let anyone tell you that you can’t make it. He then drank some Bud Light, picked up his mic, and wowed his crowd one more time with a reminder of where he came from and where we are going. They might have said he would be nothing, but now the whole world is telling Posty congratulations.
