Juniors Hasahn French and Jordan Goodwin recorded double-doubles in leading Saint Louis to a 77-48 win over Kentucky Wesleyan Wednesday night in an exhibition game at Chaifetz Arena.
The Billikens outscored the Panthers 49-23 in the second half to break the game open.
French led the way for SLU with 19 points (9-of-12 shooting) and 11 rebounds. Goodwin posted 10 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and four steals. Fred Thatch Jr. scored 12 points and tied Goodwin for game-high honors with four steals.
Kentucky Wesleyan was able to hang in the game, especially in the first half, thanks to its 3-point shooting. The Panthers were 12-of-30 from the arc, while SLU managed to hit just three of 21 from long range.
All 15 Billikens saw playing time in the game, with 12 of them registering at least one point.
