Saint Louis’ junior duo of forward Hasahn French and guard Jordan Goodwin were named to the Atlantic 10 Conference’s Preseason All-Conference Team, the league announced today at its annual Media Day in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Additionally, the Billikens were picked by A-10 head coaches and select media to finish seventh in the league.
French was named second-team All-Conference and to the league’s All-Defensive Team. Goodwin picked up third-team preseason All-Conference honors.
Last season, French averaged 9.3 ppg and 8.4 rpg to go along with 66 blocks. He enters his junior season needing just 11 blocked shots to become SLU’s all-time leader.
Goodwin is the Billikens’ top returning scorer after averaging 10.5 ppg. He was second on the Billikens with 7.5 rpg and was among the top rebounding guards in the country.
SLU head coach Travis Ford is in Brooklyn, N.Y., today where he will visit with the media. Ford will conduct a live interview interview with Andy Katz at 10 a.m. (CT) on ESPN+.
