Maren Morris brought her Girl World Tour to the sold out Pageant in STL on May 9. Joining her on tour is Raelynn, who caught country radio attention back in 2014 with her single “God Made Girls.”

Raelynn was decked out in denim and sparkles, complimenting the sassiness of her songs. She kicked it off right away with “God Made Girls,” followed by a humorous breakup song “Breaking Up With You,” throwing Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next” in the bridge. Captivating the crowd with emotion was “Love Triangle,” describing the difficulties of growing up with divorced parents – a song written when she was only 17. Raelynn jumped back into upbeat jams such as “Small Town” and “Rowdy,” where she embraces her Texas roots and gets the crowd pumped for Maren Morris.

Maren Morris opened with her newest female power anthem, “Girl.” She played a variety of old and new songs, sharing small details along the way. Doing just that, Morris opened up about her one year wedding anniversary with singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd, her struggles moving to Nashville to song write, and her struggles getting her first number one radio hit.

“80’s Mercedes” was arguably her first upbeat song on the set, but nothing compared to the party duet with Brothers Osbourne, “All My Favorite People.” Joining in the fun was Raelynn singing the second verse alongside her tour mate. The pair effortlessly rocked this song.

Balancing out the party songs were Morris’ classics “I Could Use A Love Song” and “Once,” both accentuating her ability to bring out goosebumps with her emotional performances.

Morris strategically placed her call to fame hit “My Church,” and dance-pop debut with DJ Zedd “The Middle,” at the end of the performance, partying with the crowd one last time before headed to the next town.

Morris’ performance was as exciting, fresh, and fun as the outfit she sported. Morris expressed she couldn’t imagine anyone else singing “My Church,” and her soulful voice delivers lyrics in such a way no one could recreate any of her hits.
