Saint Louis University’s cheer and dance teams are offering children ages 4-11 an opportunity to learn a routine and perform at halftime of a Billiken women’s basketball game on Sunday, Feb. 10.
Participants will learn basic cheer and dance techniques from the Saintsations during a practice session from 10 a.m. to noon in the pavilion at Chaifetz Arena. The “Junior Saintsations” then will perform their routine at halftime of that day’s SLU-La Salle game that starts at 2 p.m.
The registration deadline is Wednesday, Jan. 30. The $75.00 fee includes a uniform, poms and admission to the game. There is also a $35.00 registration fee option for those who do not want to purchase a uniform. Tickets for the game are offered to family and friends at a discounted price of $5.00.
