Niall Horan, former member of One Direction, is bringing his Flicker World Tour to Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre this Saturday, August 25, and tickets are still available.
The tour, named after his debut solo album titled Flicker, is Horan’s first stint on the road without support of his former boyband. After announcing their hiatus in December of 2015, the former boyband split up and went their own ways, forging their own solo paths. These solo paths proved to be vastly different than one another.
Reminiscent of a young John Mayer, Horan’s radio hits like “Slow Hands” and “Too Much To Ask” aren’t what you would expect from a former boybander. His music is mature and showcases his formerly overshadowed lyricism.
For support, the 24-year-old Irish singer brings along Maren Morris to open the show. Morris, on the heels of her summer smash with Zedd and Grey titled “The Middle,” returns to St. Louis after playing on the same stage last summer when she opened for Sam Hunt on his “15 In a 30 Tour.”
