Andrew W.K. has returned with a full band, and in the most unsurprising news of the day, he is ready to party! After the success of last year’s “The Party Never Dies Tour,” he’ll yet again deliver the total live concert experience on what he’s dubbed “You’re Not Alone Tour.”
A one-man music machine possessed of a single-minded, monomaniacal focus to spread a singular message, Andrew insists that to party is to exist, and to exist is to party. He continues to passionately deliver his extremely high-energy brand of uplifting entertainment, a mission he started in 2001, with the release of his debut single and signature tune “Party Hard.”
His forays outside the box include being a columnist for various publications, the host of a Cartoon Network game show and a lecturer at Yale, Harvard, Carnegie Mellon and the U.K.’s Oxford University. He even started his own political party, “The Party Party.” It’s safe to say, Andrew’s partying spirit is showing no signs of softening.
The “You’re Not Alone Tour” is titled after his most recent full-length studio release back in March and brings along opener Tortuga. The tour stops in St. Louis on May 24th at Delmar Hall.
