Ozuna to Cardinals is done
Ozuna, who just turned 27 in November, enjoyed a breakout season in 2017 hitting .312/.376/.548 (145 OPS+) with 37 home runs.
He was selected to his second straight All-Star Game, won a Gold Glove in LF, won a Silver Slugger, and finished 15th in the NL MVP vote.

The Cardinals now have two of last year’s top 5 NL outfielders in terms of fWAR in Pham (5.9) and Ozuna (4.8). The Marlins went from having two (Stanton/Ozuna) to zero in less than a week.
Since 2014, Ozuna is a .278/.333/.465 (117 OPS+) hitter who has averaged 26 homers and 3.6 WAR per 162 games. He is very quietly one of the game’s best players.

Marcell Ozuna was the most fan friendly, media friendly (English & Spanish) member of the Marlins. Will be missed here in South Florida. Good Luck Ozo.
