Billikens Baseball Falls To Fordham on the Road

Saint Louis baseball dropped game two of a three-game series at Fordham, 7-2. Josh Moore (4-2) was hit with the loss. The Billikens fall to 28-14 overall and 9-5 in Atlantic 10 games.

Fordham scored five runs in the first inning, giving SLU an early 5-0 shortfall.

Saint Louis plated a pair in the third inning, but was never able to overcome the early deficit. The Rams scored a run in the third and eighth innings to round out the scoring.

For the Billikens, freshman Parker Sniatynski was the top hitter. He went 3-4, raising his season average to .305.

Robert Plohr was effective on the hill for SLU, throwing six innings. He allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and striking out three without issuing a walk.

Saint Louis will wrap up the Fordham series tomorrow, April 26 at 11 a.m. (CT). Zach Girrenswill start on the mound for the Billikens.
